TOPIC: Upcoming CODE CHANGES ADVISORY Roof Tile Installation New Requirements This ADVISORY is to inform you of upcoming code changes for Roof Tile installation. The official documents and the effective date of the code changes have not been released. Tim Graboski Roofing Inc has been closely following the code amendments. It is expected that these mandatory new requirements will go into effect by August 2005 in Palm Beach, Martin, and Port St. Lucie counties. It is reasonable to expect the majority of remainder of the counties and municipalities to follow suit. With the economic impacts associated with the new code requirements, we feel this immediate communication is necessary for you to make necessary preparations. The largest impacting requirement is the new procedures for Hip and Ridge Roof Tile Installation. The new requirement mandates extra roofing components for the installation of the Hip and Ridge Roof Tiles. We are actively investigating all possibilities for providing the best value for our customers in conjunction with the new requirements. We recommend that you be proactive with your communications with building departments and building officials concerning these new changes and dates of initiation.
